As an environmentalist I’d like to volunteer The Well Done Foundation. Their key focus is on capping abandoned oil wells in the US that spew massive amounts of methane and CO2 into the atmosphere. Methane is 25 to 75 times as powerful as CO2 (depending on what height it is in our atmosphere) and capping it is a significantly faster way to fight climate change compared to planting trees … which take many years to grow before they can sequester the carbon back into soil.
